Crafting Season!

During this time of year I love to sit down and craft! If I could, I would just craft all day while watching Christmas movies or listening to Christmas music. My mom and I have been crafting for the past couple of months preparing for craft bazaars in Idaho. This is the first year we are participating in 3 different ones. The first one takes place in an old school house in Idaho where most of the people come to socialize and maybe buy a few presents. I love small towns! Each one of the craft bazaars we participate in takes place in a town with a population smaller than 3,500 people. My grandparents live in one of these small towns; visiting them brings me such joy. Everyone knows their neighbors, even though they aren't right next door. It's one of those towns that you can drive down the road and know everyone you pass. It's almost like a movie.

This year my mom and I have been creating some new items to sell. We always come up with a new project from one craft bazaar to the next. This year I've been making metal stamped jewelry, bottle brush Christmas trees, ornaments, notebooks, children's toys, and more. My favorite part is when I sell an item and somebody tells me who they are gifting it to and how much they will enjoy it. This makes all my work worth it!

This is a necklace I created for a friend. The text is hand stamped by me. I am now also selling these necklaces. The symbols mean: God is Greater Than the Highs and Lows.
