Hello there! Thanks for stopping by!
My name is Hannah Croskrey and I am a freelance graphic designer. I graduated from Washington State University in May of 2015 with a degree in Digital Technology and Culture and a minor in Business Administration. I love creating and designing for clients and just for fun. I have loved crafting ever since I was very young and now enjoy participating in craft bazaars where I can sell the items I hand make. Hand making gifts and products is such a joy. One of my favorite things is when my customers tell me what or who they are buying my product for, that is why I do what I do, to make other people happy. If I didn't make people happy with what I do, I simply wouldn't do it.
Growing up with a dad who seems like he can do anything with whatever he has at hand and a mom who can make any space look like home, I have become very resourceful with whatever I have available and have learned to make things look nice even if they are only going to be used or seen once. Taking credit for these skills, talents, gifts {whatever you want to call them} would not be right, God gave me these abilities and He is the only reason I am able to do what I do, and I'm not ashamed to share that with you. Sharing this with you is important to me because God is my source of hope and the one who directs my life, without Him I can do nothing.
As you can probably tell from the pictures throughout my website, I love the country. I grew up in a mid-size town but my high school always played the smaller schools from small towns. Driving through these small towns for sports games or going to my grandparent's house was never really boring to me. I grew up riding in the car for extended periods of time; being bored was never really in my vocabulary. There is always something to do. Stopping and shopping in the tiny gift shops and talking to the shop owners in these small towns has made my desire to live in the country or a small town ever more prevalent. The small town atmosphere is so refreshing. My grandparents live by a river in Idaho and when I go visit I wish I could just stay forever, going on adventures outside, making apple cider, putting together a bouquet of evergreen sprigs and rose hips, or just relaxing and looking at the view.
All of this has influenced my style in design. Vintage, refreshing, and timeless, just like a small town in the country; that's how I would describe my style. Although this is my personal style, I have also done work that has a corporate feel to it such as logo and t-shirt design. Being flexible enough to work in different styles as well as mediums has given me the ability to learn quickly and produce quality work.
